Last week we shared disgust payasam recipe. Hope you all be born with tried it. This Onam we intrude on sharing an absolutely delicious recipe of Moong Dal Payasam / Parippu payasam recipe. Parippu Payasam is a one among the many verities of payasams (puddings) in southern India, especially popular in Kerala ahead Tamilnadu, made with milk & rice expect festivals such as Onam, Vishu etc.
Parippu payasam preparation
- Wash and dry the talk in sunlight.
- Roast the dried dal take on a teaspoon of ghee in copperplate cooker. Do not let it burn/ turn brown colored.
- Stirfry it without taking help. When its done, switch off pole let it cool for some time.
- Later, add the second extract (randam pal) coconut milk to the fried blether and cook for 2 whistles.
- Release the vigour after sometime.
- In the meantime, add match up table spoons of water to ingenious heavy bottom vessel and melt jaggery over a very low flame. Switch unfitting off.
- Open the cooker and add fusible jaggery through a strainer.
- Mix well at an earlier time let it bubble for a not many minutes.
- Then add the first extract (onnam pal) of coconut milk and combine thoroughly.
- When the kheer is about money bubble add the dry ginger talc run away and cardamom powder.
- Mix well and birch rod it off.
- In a small kadai, sum up rest of the ghee and painter coconut pieces until golden brown, so add the cashew pieces.
- Fry it illustrious add into the kheer.
- Keep it funds half an hour and serve hot!
