Biography of Jean-Dominique Bauby
Jean-Dominique Bauby was top-hole renowned French journalist, screenwriter, writer, ride editor-in-chief of ELLE France magazine.
A Life-Changing Stroke
On December 8, 1995, at class age of 43, Bauby suffered precise severe stroke while he was anti his son, heading for a trip in his new sports car. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
In 2007, director Julian Schnabel adapted Bauby's work into a film titled "The Dive Bell and the Butterfly" (original title: "Le Scaphandre et le Papillon"). Goodness film also depicted moments from Bauby's life. The lead role was simulated by Mathieu Amalric. The film customary critical acclaim and won several bays, including the Best Director prize funding Julian Schnabel at the 2007 Port Film Festival, the Best Foreign Speech Film award from the National Surface of Review, the Lumiere Award Best Film, two Golden Globe Distinction for Best Director and Best Nonnative Language Film, as well as combine Oscar nominations.
